Vikor Scientific uses our add-ons for three different aspects of their workflow; Document Creation, Faxing and Text Notifications.
Vikor Scientific is a molecular diagnostics company focused on creating tangible solutions for the practice of value-based medicine in the treatment of infectious disease. Like many other companies in the medical industry, Vikor has a constant influx of patient information coming in on a daily basis. Making sure this information is both organized and easily accessible to every department that needs it can be a challenge. That's where Quickbase comes in.
Quickbase provides Vikor Scientific with a place to store all of the important information their company needs such as patient's data accounts, supply orders, etc.
To help them get the most out of the data stored in their application, Vikor Scientific uses our add-ons for three different aspects of their workflow; Document Creation, Faxing and Text Notifications.
Document Creation
Exact Forms Plus (our most popular add-on) allows companies to generate complex documents with dynamic information from their applications in a single click.
In Vikor Scientific's case, this add-on is used to generate medical requisitions, missing information forms and other documents that need to be faxed using the information within their application.

Faxing
Faxing is primarily used in the medical industry to meet the standards of HIPAA and PHIPA compliance in regard to patient privacy.
Our Secure Faxing add-on allows Vikor Scientific to do just that, all within the confines of their Quickbase application. Once they've generated the necessary documents using Exact Forms Plus, they are able to easily send them over to the intended recipient from the same record in their application.

Text Notifications
Vikor Scientific primarily uses Text My Quickbase to text their sales reps. For example, let's say that Vikor receives a patient's sample. If a patient's sample is rejected, they simply update a record in a table, which triggers an automated text that 1. Notifies the sales rep of the insufficient sample and 2. Provides them the reason why the sample was rejected (which can vary from case to case). This functionality allows them to notify their sales reps in real time so they can get the issue resolved or contact the facility.
