How Orleans Parish Communication District Saves 3 Daily Hours with Quickbase

A process that used to take over 3 hours at a time and required them to start at 4:00am on a daily basis is now able to be done in just a few clicks within their Quickbase application.

About Orleans Parish Communication District

The Orleans Parish Communication District (OPCD) is the Public Safety Answering Point for all emergency communications via 9-1-1 and non-emergency city services via 3-1-1 within Orleans Parish, Louisiana. With over 140 employees, OPCD can provide emergency medical, fire and police dispatch for both the visitors and residents of New Orleans.

Given OPCD runs so much of their operations through Quickbase, we're proud to have the opportunity to help them in their mission to keep the city of New Orleans safe.

The Problem That's Been Solved

By using our Add-On Exact Forms Plus, OPCD created a process that automatically arranges a federally mandated offense log for publication. By simply clicking a button that they've conveniently placed in their Quickbase application, the document is populated with every crime that was logged over the course of a 24 hour period.
